The day I type this is the day that Buckingham Fountain, my favorite Chicago landmark, has been turned on for the 2025 season. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the big ceremony due to observing Mother's Day a day early, but on my way to my mom's house, I happened to drive past the fountain three minutes before the big activation.
